Because He Lives… So Does Your Hope 🕊

Because He Lives… So Does Your Hope 🕊

Hi sweet friend,

Happy Resurrection Day 💛

Today we celebrate the greatest hope the world has ever known — that Jesus is alive, and because of that, new life is possible for you and me.

And I don’t say that lightly.

I’ve had seasons in my life where hope felt completely out of reach. Where I was just going through the motions, holding onto pain, disappointment, and fear like it was part of me. There were days I believed certain parts of my life were just too broken — my peace, my joy, my sense of purpose. I even questioned if I could ever really heal from the things I’d been through.

But God.

The beauty of Resurrection Sunday is that it reminds us of one powerful truth: God is still in the business of resurrection.

The same power that rolled away the stone and brought Jesus out of the grave is still at work — even in our mess, even in our doubts, even when everything feels too far gone.

I’ve watched Him breathe new life into things I thought were over — relationships, broken dreams, even my own heart. And He didn’t do it all at once. Sometimes the healing came little by little, one surrendered day at a time. But He always showed up. Just like He said He would.

Friend, if you’re in a place where everything feels dark and uncertain — I want you to know this: Jesus didn’t just rise from the dead to be celebrated once a year. He rose so that we could live with the hope of new beginnings every single day.

So what can you do when your heart feels heavy and your circumstances seem hopeless?

Here are a few ways to hold on to resurrection hope:

  1. Speak God’s promises over your pain.
Read scripture out loud, even when your heart doesn’t feel it. Try starting with John 11:25 or Romans 8:11. Let truth push back the lies.

  2. Surrender your expectations.
Sometimes the thing we want resurrected doesn’t come back the way we imagined — but God always replaces it with what we need. Trust His version of healing.

  3. Look for small signs of new life.
A moment of peace, a small answered prayer, a friend who reaches out right when you need it. These are reminders that God is still moving.

  4. Pray even when it feels hard.
You don’t need fancy words. Just be honest. Tell Him what hurts, and ask Him to help you hope again.

  5. Remember His faithfulness.
Think back to a time He showed up for you before. He’s the same God today, and He’s not done with your story.

"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live." (John 11:25)

No matter what season you’re walking through right now, I pray this Easter fills your heart with fresh hope. You are never too far, never too broken, and never beyond God’s reach.

He came back for you.

With love and grace,
Kimberly 💛
