Finding Strength in God When You Feel Weary

Finding Strength in God When You Feel Weary

Hello Dear Friend 😊

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how quickly life can wear us down. Between the responsibilities, unexpected changes, and moments of self-doubt, it sometimes feels like I’m running on empty. Have you ever felt like that? Like no matter how hard you try, there’s always more to do, more people to take care of, more challenges to overcome?

I’ve been finding myself drawn to the words of Isaiah 40:31: ā€œBut those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.ā€ There’s something powerful in those words. God’s promise to renew our strength isn’t just for the days when we’re feeling good; it’s especially for the times when we’re at our lowest, struggling to even take the next step.

The other day, I was feeling especially exhausted and decided to just sit quietly and pray. I didn’t have fancy words or long, thought-out prayers—just a simple, ā€œGod, I need You.ā€ And in that moment, I felt a kind of peace that I can’t fully explain. It didn’t make my to-do list any shorter, but it reminded me that I don’t have to carry everything alone.

If you’re feeling worn down today, I want you to know that God sees you, loves you, and is there to renew your strength, too. Maybe the first step is just taking a few moments to pause, breathe, and remind yourself that you don’t have to do it all alone.Ā

Sending you love and peace today, my friend. šŸ¤šŸ•Š

Warmly,
Kimberly
